At the beginning of the meeting, the guests were introduced to the functions performed by the Seimas Ombudsmen&#8217;s Office and it\u2018s mandates. In addition, the attention was drawn to the fact that human rights issues are particularly sensitive.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The meeting also focused on ensuring the independence of the Ombudsman.
