Augustinas Normantas, the Head of the Seimas Ombudsmen\u2019s Office, hosted the meeting with Members of the European Parliament visiting Lithuania. The guests were interested in the human rights situation on the Belarusian-Lithuanian border. They were presented with the Seimas Ombudsman\u2019s Report on the human rights situation at the temporary detention places of foreigners at the border with Belarus. In addition, the issues of independent human rights monitoring at the border were discussed during the meeting. Finally, the Seimas Ombudsman A.
